Abstract:
This paper attempted to portray teacher impact on student using a single case study design. Data for the study has been compiled by interviews from five students currently studying at a school in Addu City.
This study provided an array of information that is useful to a teacher in influencing her students. The result and analysis provided some main categories that emerged regarding the teacher impact. This study is an outcome of experiences and procedures that the teacher follows in order to impact her students. Depending on the findings and results, three major categories were developed. This illustrates a framework for the strategies that the teacher used in her classroom.
My main aim or goal of this case study was to find out specific strategies that the teacher used to impact her students positively.
According to the findings from the study the teacher influenced the students by using different strategies such as proper classroom management, create a learning environment, building student teacher relationship. Implication of these findings were also discussed.
