ABSTRACT
Stress is a universal aspect of the life, every person from nearly every walk of life has to face it one or either way. For today's employer's one of the challenges that was confront is stress management issue that contributed to lower employee's work productivity originated from low morality and dissatisfaction ultimately leading to high employees turnover and effecting organizational performance. However, Maldives Airport Company Limited is the one of the company which had faced problem of high job stress and turnover during the past years, but no serious effort has been made by the company to find out the causation of this issues. Thus, the purpose of this present study is to investigate impact of job stress on employee's turnover among the employees of the Maldives Airport Company Limited (MACL).
The total sample population of this study is 100 respondents which are selected from 120 questionnaire distributed to respondents, including both male and female between the age of 20 to 50 above. Further, research is based on both primary and secondary data collection methods where primary data were collected through a questionnaire that consists of various types of questions. Similarly, data was analysis through statistical package of social science (SPSS) and by using Microsoft Excel. The result of the study shows that there were mainly three factors that lead to stress which in fact resulting employee's turnover. Furthermore analysis showed that significantly positive correlation between job stress and employees turnover, which immensely affecting employees turnover intention of contemplating to leave (0.747**), searching for alternative to organization (0.747**) and leaving organization as soon as possible (0.731**). After gathering all the major findings and conclusion, the researcher has provided recommendation to work out the issues.
