Abstract
The aim of this study based on the impact of leadership change in given organization and identifying the impacts on the leadership styles of the leader, which impacts the employee motivation and organizational commitments. The study uses a descriptive research using qualitative methods. The primary phase is data collecting process by using questionnaires and interviews and conducts an empirical review of literature relevant for the study in identifying the main concepts of the theoretical framework. This study is based on the main problems of the research: 1.to identify the organizational motivation and commitment, 2. to identify the change leadership styles which effect to achieve organizational goals. In achieving its objective, the study tests the Hl and H2, a qualitative data analysis using purposive sampling method. This study defines the impacts in changing leadership in the context of employees and how it impacts the performance of employee motivation and organizational commitments. The study is based on transactional leadership and transformational leadership which relevant theories and how this leadership effects the employees working in public and private organizations based on Maldives. Two organization from public sector and two organization from private sector was chosen in conduct the study. The results of this study shown that change of leadership in an organization which have a negative impact on the employee motivation and commitment to the organization. This study can be a critique for other researches to clarify the benefits and other implication of change in leadership in an organization.
