Abstract
The aim of this dissertation report is to explore and review the current leadership and the organizational concepts of the Maldives National Cadet Corps. MNCC is a unique entity to analyze the leadership manifestations and the organizational culture and practices due to the unique combination of governmental, voluntary and military discipline in practice, makes. The problems and inefficiencies have been identified and reviewed by using McKinsey's 7S model which analyses the inner operations and aspects of an organization by means of strategy, structure, systems, staff, skills, style and shared values. The research is purely a qualitative case study where the data is collected by covert and overt observations made by the author across a 13-year period.
