Abstract:

This research study explored the challenging role of the leading teachers in the school environment and its influence on students' performance using a single case study design. This case study created a synthesis information that helps the all the readers to understand the common set of leadership practiced by an effective leading teachers, the influence; which includes positive influence and negative influence of it and the challenges faced by the leading teachers in our schools. The resulting analysis and interpretation provided a description of seven major themes that developed regarding the role of the leading teachers influence on students' performance, as well as the challenges faced by leading teachers and its impact on students' performance.

The outcome of this study is an interpretation of experiences and procedures that guide the development and the benefits of maintaining the quality of leading teachers in our school. Based on the findings, seven main categories developed with supporting elements that were critical component of each category. The two categories are based about the quality of leading teachers, the next two are about challenges. Three categories focused about the impacts on students due to leadership quality. The qualitative method in this study is to derive from a constructivist viewpoint with a focus on deeply understanding this specific case of leading teachers influence on students' performance. The aim of conducting this study was to provide more specific examples of realistic findings of how the students' performance are influencing due to effective leading teachers in the school. Identify specific factor associated with quality leading teachers on students' performance could provide valuable information to an educational learning community. Implications for how these findings can impact the learning environment are discussed at the last part of the research.
