Abstract:
In a world were lot of drastic changes happen in organizations, communication is one of the most important elements of the organization. Organizations such as schools are influenced by the globalization and modern strategies; the schools are in need of high performance and faster progress. The changes occur at a rapid and speed and to meet the demands of the implementation process of these changes, it stress on the need of an effective communication system. With limited resources and continuous challenges, the progress that the new world seeks can be achieved through a systematically and efficient means of communication. This study examines the significance of effective communication between the management of the schools from Male' city, Maldives. The data for this research were collected through questionnaire with the sample size of 120 respondents. The findings of this research reveal and overview of the status of communication schools as not very effective. Further it proves the connection between effective communication between management and teachers for effective communication. From the findings of the research, it recommends that there needs to be an effective way to communicate between the management and teachers, to provide guidance, support and resources for the essential improvements in teachers performance.
