Abstract
It is disturbing to find that the shock of the reality of classroom behaviour being the most controversial issue for most of the beginner teachers. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the classroom management approaches between beginners and experienced teachers regarding student behaviour? And how are the teaching methods different from beginner and experienced teachers? In order to answer these questions a qualitative study was used by using semi-structured interviews and observations. The research was carried out with 8 teachers from two schools of male. Among 8 participants four teachers were interviewed and four classes were observed. Data was analyzed and research findings suggested that there were similarities and also difference between beginner and experienced teachers regarding their classroom management approaches. From the finding it was observed that student behavior management and teaching methods were impacted by limited knowledge about misbehaviour and low self-esteem. In conclusion to the study, research implications and areas for future research have been identified that would be helpful for the teachers and teacher trainers.
