Abstract
Educational technology is considered as one of the major revolution of the history of education. New technologies are being invented and the growth of these technologies in education process is accelerating which seems to be continued in the future. The aim of this study were to identify how often teachers use technology in the classroom teaching and the impact on students' progress in studying in a technology based on the environment . In addition to this, the frequency of use of technology between male and female teachers were compared and the type of technology used in classroom where discovered. Moreover, the study aim to compare the test scores of a technology based environment and a normal classroom environment. The main findings show that projectors and laptops are the most commonly used type of technology in classroom. Also, teacher's perception on the positive impact on students learning shows that it motivates learner to learn and makes learning more fun and enjoyable and mostly male teachers use these different form of technology in classroom. Finally, the study proved that students can score better when technology is used in explaining the lessons. The integration of technology has changed over times enabling new ways of teaching. Modern technology can bring a lot of changes to the learning context, student's behavior and most importantly classroom management.
