Abstract
The main objective of this research was to identify the different styles of leadership practised by previous and current leaders of MWSC and to identify factors motivating employees of MWSC.
The dissertation consists of six main chapters. The chapters include an introduction, a literature review, research methodology, data findings and analysis, discussion, conclusion and recommendations.
The introduction chapter consists of an overview of the organization, problem statement, purpose of the study and research objectives and finally the significance of the study.
The second chapter, a review of literature will be discussed. This chapter begins with a literature review on leadership and then focus on the theoretical parts and conceptual framework related to leadership styles on employee motivation.
The third chapter discusses the research methodology used for the research. This chapter mainly includes research philosophy, research design, sampling, instrumentation, research site and participants, pilot study, data collection, framework of data analysis and research limitations.
In the fourth chapter, research findings, analysis and synthesis of data collected from the interviews will be discussed. All of the objectives set by the researcher were achieved and are discussed in this chapter.
In the fifth chapter, the researcher will discuss the findings of the study in relation to the previous literature on leadership style and motivation.
The final chapter includes a conclusion and limitations of the research and recommendations for further research.
