Abstract
The research is aimed at determining factors influencing acceptance of mobile money by the sole proprietors in Male'. The study will test whether relationship exists between demographic features, Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU); and acceptance of mobile money by sole proprietors in Male'. Variables were tested with correlation with the random sampling technique. The questionnaires were sent to 286 shop owners in Male'. A total of 218 owners responded and filled the questionnaires, resulting in a response rate of 77% which is considered satisfactory for this analysis. This result of this quantitative study were analysed with the help of statistical tools using mean, median, mode etc. The results suggested that demographic features, Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOIJ) are significantly related to the acceptance of mobile money.
