Executive Summary
This is a research study conducted for the purpose of finding out the significance and impact of psychological, physical, environmental factors and individual characteristics that have an impact on the job satisfaction among Civil Service Commission (CSC) employees and the selected Government Ministries.
In the first chapter, background and research objective is introduced, followed by research purpose and definitions. The second chapter focuses on literature review highlighting a general view relating to job satisfaction from previously conducted researches. Therefore, on the basis of these theories a research model was developed for the current research.
The third chapter will highlight the research strategy of this study. The contents of the questionnaire and the samples used in the study will be deliberated. Moreover, this chapter also covers about the reliability and validity of the study. The fourth chapter mainly emphasizes about how data will be collected and through which its sources.
The chapter five covers the survey findings and analysis of the study. The research findings and result is based on the questionnaires filled by employees of that the CSC and the selected two largest sectors Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education employees have been filled. A sample of 170 employees was selected randomly which would represent 95% confidence level and data was processed using the Microsoft Excel. Lastly the chapter 6 is the final phase of this research study. Highlighting on the conclusion, recommendation and further research. The recommendations are provided based on the research findings and it also conveys the feedbacks received from the employees.
