Abstract
In today's competitive environment, education system makes the student's as better individual. Teachers are a major asset for shaping the students as good and better individual through effective teaching. Hence the present study attempt to analyze the empowerment of teachers in the effectiveness of schools specific to secondary schools of Fuvahmulah. To obtain this, the present study focused on a survey of using a scale called School Participant Empowerment Scale (SPES) having six dimensions like status, self-efficacy, professional growth, decision making, impact, and autonomy. Based on the data collection, the study was conducted through descriptive and correlation analysis. From the study findings, it is noticed that there was the positive correlation between all the six dimensions used. This represents that the significant correlation occurs with the empowerment level felt by teachers in this study. Further the demographic status of teachers also supports the effectiveness of secondary schools in Fuvahmulah. It is concluded from the findings as the teacher's empowerment can support the effectiveness of secondary schools in Fuvahmulah.
