ABSTRACT

Human Resource Audit practice changes the perception of related employees and it effects to the Human Resource function is a new corporate development in the scope of Human Resource Management. This study is to find the employee perception on the effectiveness of Human Resource audit practice of the Human Resource function at Bank of Maldives. The main objective of the study is to determine the perceived effect to an employee of the human resource function due to human resource audit. This study will use a case study research design since the organisation to be studied will be the sole unit of analysis and will help generalize the findings. Data collection will be primary data with the main tool being questionnaire technique with data samples from main core business work employees. The secondary data, which includes articles, journals, literature and other, credible Internet sources.
The key informants of the study include the employees of HR Functions and the core business employees, as they are most influential to the main business. The data will be checked for accuracy, completeness and analyses using descriptive statistics. The responses from the questionnaire will be analyzed using frequency, percentages, measures of central tendency and measures of variation. Based on the findings of the study the human resource function needs to re-look a number of key human resource products and services if the organization wants to maintain or improve the current level of effectiveness. This research will be an aid to further studies in future
