Gems of Classical Chinese Poetry contains 152 poems. To make it easy to read and memorize, the scholars arranged the poems in the order of pentasyllabic quatrains, hepasyllabic regulated verses, pentasyllabic ancient-style poems, and heptasyllabic anciet-style poems. Under each form, the poets are arranged in a chronological order.
Mr. Xu Fang and Mrs Han Shan have translated the original texts into modern Chinese, and Mr. Xu Yuan Zhong has translated the poems into English. Therefore from this book readers can read the original poems with both modern Chinese version and English translation
