Abstract:
This study examines how multimedia influence on student's motivation in learning grade 8 business studies and how effective multimedia is used in teaching. Further, it also investigates the methods of teaching which can be investigated with multimedia. The findings of the research reveals that multimedia influences students motivation by improving their result, by creating fun learning environment, by making them to understand the meaning of the knowledge, by interaction and also through retention of information. Effective multimedia is achieved when different medias are used for suitable purpose and usage of media is not suitable is indicated by the findings. Finding expressed that teaching strategies are integrated with multimedia however the methods are limited the method of research is qualitative in which case study design used to explore the objectives of the study through interview and case study.
