Abstract:
This study was conducted to examine the relationship between student achievement and teachers job satisfaction. The study attempted to find out the relationship between student achievement and teachers job satisfaction with regards to discipline of student, administrative support, work environment, financial gain and autonomy. A quantitative survey design was used to do this study. Hundred and forty teachers participated in the study. Each teacher completed a questionnaire which gathered information the different aspects of teachers' job satisfaction. The relationships were tested using Spearman's rank correlation. Result analysis that were conducted for this study there is no evidence that teachers job satisfaction due to students discipline, administrative support, work environment, financial gain and autonomy proves any difference to what could be achieved by the students. Thus the current study shows that there is no relationship between student achievement and teachers job satisfaction due any of the aspects.
