Abstract:
This research would benefit both the not yet established Theme Park Industry and the very well established National Tourism Industry in Maldives. It will show the opinion of the tourists as well as locals about establishing a Theme Park in the Maldives, positive and negative impacts and how implementing this project could improve local tourism. The research is based on two surveys conducted for locals and foreigners separately and two focus group interview conducted with relevant industry experts.
